Welcome to Under The Arbor 'Behind The Scenes'
Welcome to UTA behind the scenes! As of 2021 I decided to document our business journey. Throughout the week I will document the good, the bad and yes, the ugly. We want you to be a part of our life and show you what goes into UTA! So today, 'UTA behind the scenes' has officially been created! We will take you along on our buying trips (aka field trips), show you our furniture makeovers, the process of our store displays and much more! So let me start off by introducing ourselves! My name is Shannon and my husband Rick and I started Under The Arbor in 2011 in only 500 square feet. Over the years we expanded our space and now have two locations and a team of 20 vendors. The stores are ran daily by our vendors, each who have their own spot within the store bringing their own creative mix of items. On top of our awesome team of 20, the arbor is also made up of individual consignors who make and sell items at the shops. These items include everything from locally grown plants to handmade soaps to the most delicious toffee around ;-) So besides managing our two stores we also have 3 kiddos, 1 who officially is a teenager this year! (I'm still in shock about that one) So yep, we are busy and to be honest we wouldn't have it any other way. Sometimes we might be in shock of an extra busy week ahead but for some reason we thrive on that craziness. We are so excited for you to get to know us and our team as we head into the new year, stay posted!
