Under The Arbor offers consignment for various items (see lists below). Direct buy is another option. (See bottom of page)
For consignment, we will provide you with 50% of the selling price.
You may bring your item(s) in anytime during normal store hours to discuss pricing but please call first to make sure one of the owners is available that day.
You may also e-mail a picture of your item to us at email@underthearbor.com and we will respond as soon as possible.
Consignment contracts are for 90 days. There will be a 15% reduction every 30 days. Additional reductions may apply during special events or sales.
When your item sells you will be notified by phone/email and can come pick up your check or have it mailed to you for a $2 fee.
If your item does not sell after 90 days you can choose to extend the contract 30 days with an additional markdown or come reclaim your item.
What is accepted?
We are interested in many items. The following is a list of examples of accepted items:
-Tables
-Chairs/barstools
-Chests/trunks
-Dressers
-Nightstands
-Armoires
-Bookcases
-Plant stands
-Fountains
-Pottery
-Decorative accessories
-Vintage items
-Framed artwork
-Mirrors
-Lamps/clocks (battery or bulb must be supplied)
What is not accepted?
Please do not be offended if we do not accept all of your items. We may not accept items housed in a smoking or pet environment. We retain the right to decline items for consignment based on current inventory levels, your asking price, condition or past experience.

-Mattresses/bed linens
-Clothing
-Infant furniture
-Toys and games (unless vintage)
-Appliances
-Electronics
-Excercise equipment
-Paperback books
-Videos/CD's/tapes
-Candles (unless brand new)
-Power tools
Direct Buy
We will also buy some items outright from you if you would rather not consign your items. We will provide you with approx 35% of the price we would sell your item for. Just like consignment, you may bring your items in anytime for us to take a look but please call first to make sure one of the owners is in.
